A cake mix is the secret ingredient that makes these cookies quick and easy.
Ingredients
1 package yellow cake mix
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/3 cup water
1 egg
About 60 milk chocolate candy kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In mixing bowl, combine cake mix, peanut butter, water and egg. Mix until dough forms.
Shape into 1-inch balls. If needed, refrigerate the dough for easier handling. Place balls two inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake for 9 - 11 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and immediately top each cookie with a candy kiss, pressing down firmly so that the cookie cracks around the edge.
Remove from cookie sheet.
Allow to cool until candy hardens.
