Ingredients
1 Granny Smith apple
1 tube crescent rolls - I like the kind that are strips rather than triangles.
1/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 Tablespoon softened butter
Instructions
Heat oven to 350F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean up.
Mix sugar and cinnamon in small bowl.
Peel apple. Cut into quarters and remove core. Cut each quarter into 4 pieces, giving you 16 apple slices.
Open crescent rolls; separate strips of dough. Cut eat strip in half horizontally, giving you 16 pieces of dough. Lay the dough strips on the lined baking sheet.
Spread the top of each piece of dough with butter.
Generously sprinkle cinnamon sugar over the butter.
Place an apple slice at the end of each strip and roll it up.
Sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar.
Bake for 10 - 12 minutes or until nicely browned.
Cool on wire rack.
