Cranberry Chutney

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
16 ounces fresh cranberries
1 cup orange juice
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup diced celery
1 cup diced apple (with peel)
1 Tablespoon grated orange peel
1 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

Put sugar, orange juice, cranberries and half cup of water in saucepan.

Bring to boil while stirring. Simmer for 15 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients. Return to boil.

Cool to room temperature. This chutney can be made ahead and stored in the freezer.
