Teriyaki Portabella Mushrooms

Ingredients

1 pound fresh portabella mushrooms, sliced
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
2 Tablespoons cooking oil
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
2 Tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

Instructions

Place sliced mushrooms in plastic bag, set in a bowl. Whisk together remaining ingredients and pour over mushrooms. Close bag and refrigerate for 1 - 4 hours, turning several times.

Place mushrooms and marinade in saucepan. Cover and simmer about 15 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Uncover and simmer an additional 3 - 5 minutes or until almost all the liquid is gone.
Cool to room temperature.
