Gingerbread Coffee Latte

Move over Starbucks! This is just as good.

Indredients

1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ginger
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
6 cups hot brewed coffee
1 cup half and half (this can be substituted for 2% milk to make a skinny latte)
1 teaspoon cloves
1 1/2 cups whipped cream or Ready-Whip

Instructions

In small bowl, combine molasses, brown sugar, baking soda, ginger and cinnamon.
Cover and refrigerate at lease 10  minutes.
Add about 1/4 cup coffee to each cup. Then, stir in one Tablespoon of the molasses mixture.
Stir until dissolved.
Fill cup to within one inch with additional hot coffee.
Stir in half and half to taste and top with whipped cream and a dusting of cloves.
